While your home, you may want to get away from the stresses of this world. Unfortunately, we can’t go out and get a facial or get our feet soaked. But, we can do these same activities at home. You may be surprised that you have many of the ingredients listed below.

Body Scrub

You can enjoy the refreshing and satisfying feeling of a massage in your own home with body scrubs. The primary purpose of body scrubs is removing dead skin cells, which helps promote brighter and softer skin.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coffee grounds or brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp. hot water

  • 1 tbsp. Carrier oil of choice ( coconut, olive, sweet almond oil )

  • One drop Cinnamon bark leaf oil (optional)

Directions

  1. Add the coffee grounds and hot water to a mixing bowl.

  2. Mix thoroughly with a spoon.

  3. Add the coconut oil.

  4. If needed, add more coffee grounds or more oil to get the consistency right.

  5. When you’re satisfied with the consistency, spoon the mixture into a container.

Because your skin is delicate, you should only use body scrubs once or twice per week. If you’ve never used a body scrub before, make sure you test the body scrub on a small patch of your skin. This scrub should be stored in a jar that has a tightly closed lid.

Diy Cleansing Facial Steam

One of the best ways to treat clogged facial pores is by giving them a warm steam facial. If you add purifying essential oils, you can reap the benefits from them as well. Just take caution when doing this treatment because you can severely burn yourself.

Ingredients

  • Half a bowl of hot water

  • One drop tea tree essential oil

  • One drop of lavender essential oil

Directions:

  1. Fill a bowl halfway with hot water, making sure the bowl is securely on the table.

  2. Add your essential oils

  3. Drape a towel over your head and place your face over the bowl.

Note: If you, at any point, feel the steam is too hot, move your face farther away. Remain over the bowl for about 10 minutes or until the water cools.

DIY Footbath

Rejuvenate and soothe aching feet with this footbath, which contains cooling peppermint and softening honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 foot basin of water

  • 2 Peppermint Teabags

  • 2 drops Peppermint essential oil

  • 2 tbsp of honey

  • 1 tbsp of Epsom Salt

Directions:

  1. Fill the basin with hot water and add tea bags

  2. Let cool down for about 3 minutes

  3. Remove tea bags

  4. Add honey, salt, and essential oils

  5. Stir until dissolved

Just take caution when soaking your feet because you can severely burn yourself. Do not use on broken skin or freshly shaved skin.

These are a few beauty treatments to try at home. When you are finished with them, you should moisturize your skin after. Try our bath and body oils. We have two types: sensitive skin and deep woods. They can be used all over on your face and body.
